Reflective Surfaces

Welcome to This Week's Drawing Challenge!

This week, we're focusing on highlights and reflective surfaces. Each day, you'll have a new prompt to inspire your drawings. Here's how to participate:

1. Read the Prompt: Each day, check the prompt for the object or scene you'll be drawing.
2. Observe Closely: Take a moment to observe the object or scene and notice how light interacts with it- or use a reference photo!
3. Start Drawing: Grab your drawing materials and begin sketching! Pay close attention to the highlights and reflections.
4. Share Your Work: Once you've finished your drawing, share it with the group or through the assignment portal for feedback and encouragement.

Get ready to explore the world of highlights and reflections through your drawings. Let's get started!

This week 5/12-5/17- one sketch a day::

1. Glass Bottle: Draw a glass bottle, noticing how it reflects light and surrounding objects through its transparent surface.
2. Glass of Water: Draw a glass filled with water and notice how it distorts and reflects objects behind it.
3. Metallic Spoon: Draw a spoon, paying attention to how it reflects light differently on its curved and flat surfaces.
4. Polished Marble: Draw a piece of polished marble, observing how it reflects light with its smooth surface.
5. Puddle: Draw a puddle on the ground, reflecting the sky or nearby objects.
6. Chrome Faucet: Draw a faucet, focusing on the reflective properties of its chrome surface.
7. Sunglasses: Draw a pair of sunglasses, paying attention to how they reflect the environment around them.
