A new month a new focus!
Phew! We did it!!! The good news is that we managed a full month of perspective, compositions, buildings and people and cars...oh my!!!
The bad news is that I caught a wicked, little virus this week that took me out all week long. My body hurt so much - my THUMBS ached!! So it was down to bare minimum for drawing and just taking care of my students ---then crawling back into bed. It has been a skinny minute since I felt so sick - but today seems to be a bit better - so I am hopeful that I have shaken it!!
My husband and I went to a macro photography course at our local botanical gardens. Because I have no sketches this week - I will share some of my shots from the garden. :-)
This month we will conquer: LANDSCAPES!
“
I didn't draw this week - I FAILED!
Short answer: Gurrrl, Saaaame.
Longer answer: Life can take us out at the knees- or with a virus. Let's look to the week ahead and move on together!

Create a landscape with a focal point using a single prominent tree.
Draw a scene with a mountainous background and a foreground path.
Experiment with a coastal landscape, including waves and cliffs and clouds.
Illustrate a landscape with a winding river or stream.
