Is it overwhelming?

Do you find that sketching is becoming easier?

Have you noticed an improvement in your sketching?

Is there less fear in looking at the blank white page?

My hope would be that we are all more fearless, ready to take chances, and not fear mistakes. Daily drawing is about stretching those muscles and increasing our comfort zone!

I am finding that folks seem to find more success in our challenge when I can provide specific daily drawing challenges, rather than ambiguous prompts. This week we will focus on specific animals and include a sketch of a specific bacground.

  1. Eagle Perch: Sketch of an eagle on a tree branch.
  2. Swan Glide: Drawing of a swan on a peaceful pond.
  3. Python Coil: Sketch of a python wrapped around a tree branch.
  4. Horse Beach Stroll: Drawing of a horse strolling on the beach.
  5. Clownfish Reef: Illustration of a clownfish in coral reefs.
  6. Tortoise Sunbath: Sketch of a tortoise basking in the sun.
  7. Blue Jay Post: Drawing of a blue jay on a fence post.
