Animal Gestures

This week we will be continuing on with our sketches and capturing them in full motion. Remember to break down the shapes into smaller shapes to get started and begin with your line of action - just like we did with humans!

This week on Twitch we will be drawing animals together to find the line of action and see how to break down into smaller shapes....

Without further ado - our daily challenges for this week and I have added clearer directions as requested :-)

This week 4/7-4/14- one sketch a day::

Week 2 - Capturing Animal Movement:

1. Sketch a running or leaping mammal, emphasizing motion.
2. Draw a bird in flight, capturing the dynamic movement of wings.
3. Illustrate a swimming fish, paying attention to the flow of its body.
4. Create a crawling or slithering reptile, portraying movement.
5. Experiment with a galloping horse, focusing on dynamic poses.
6. Draw an animal engaged in a playful or energetic activity.
7. Challenge: Depict an animal in motion with a detailed background.
